Baha’is to Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh

As 2017 begins, over 5 million Baha’is worldwide are preparing for major upcoming celebrations. On October 22, 2017, in some 100,000 localities worldwide, they will celebrate the bicentenary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet Founder of the Baha’i Faith. Read more about Bahá’u’lláh here.

See International website for Bicentenary: https://bicentenary.bahai.org

The global festivities involving people of thousands of ethnic backgrounds is demonstrative of a key message of Bahá’u’lláh’s life and teachings: that a special time has arrived for the entire human race as it gradually moves from a stage of collective adolescence to one of maturity and wholeness.

Baha’is in Belize will celebrate with local intimate events in their communities and a national event in Belmopan on Oct 21st, 2017.

Those are interested in learning more about the Baha’í teachings, guest and friends of Baha’is, and those involved in Baha’i-inspired activities are warmly invited to join these events. For local events – please contact the community where you live for the national event, please see below.
